Los padres tienen una colosal influencia sobre los hijos, heredandonos maneras de actuar, costumbres y gustos personales, en este caso debo decir que mi papá es un super fanático de las sagas de acción y por lo mismo crecí viendo infinidad de veces las películas de Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, 007 y por supuesto Star Wars.
No soy mucho de mostrar cuando algo me fascina, mantengo un bajo perfil y creo que solo quienes me conocen saben del amor que tengo por ciertas cosas. Cuando me entere habría una secuela de Star Wars casi muero de la emoción y no podía dejar de pensar que faltaba más de un año como se que paso con muchos de nosotros. Algunos dicen que se ha vuelto mainstream y que solo es trending topic pero como no lo va a ser después de 10 años?! pero me encanta saber que muchos disfrutan de estas películas que para mi son un clásico inigualable.
Parents have a colossal influence upon their children, inheritance us ways of acting, habits and personal tastes, in this case I gotta say my dad is a super fan of action saga movies and because of that I grew up watching a huge number of times movies like Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, 007 and of course Star Wars.
I’m not that show of when I’m fascinated about something, I keep a low profile and I think only the ones that know me better know about my love for certain things. When I heard there would be a sequel of Star Wars I almost died of emotion and I couldn’t stop thinking that I needed to wait mor than a year as I’m sure it happen with lots of us. Some people say it’s too mainstream and it’s only a trending topic but how cannot be TT after 10 years?!but the good part is that lots of people enjoy this movies that for me are a incomparable classic.
Como fiel admiradora del diseño de vestuario, aparte de disfrutar una película me concentro mucho en los trajes, en esta saga me impactaron con muchos de los vestuarios en especial los de Padmé Amidala ❤ pero en esta ocasión quise hacer un mini lookbook de outfits que transmitan poder y pensé en un twist femenino inspirada en uno de los mejores personajes “Darth Vader”, les iré comentando abajo de cada uno de ellos.
As a faithful admirer of wardrobe costume design, besides enjoying a good movie I tend to focus in the outfits, in this saga I was impact with many of the costumes specially the ones of Padmé Amidala ❤ but in this ocassion I wanted to make a mini lookbook of empowered outfits and I thought of a femenine twist inspired in one of the best characters “Darth Vader”, I’ll be talking about each one of them below.
Este outfit fue inspirado en los vestuarios de pelea de Padmé Amidala en “El ataque de los clones”, un estilo simple de pantalón, botas bajas de combate y una camisa con corte simétrico. Claro no podía faltar la pose de”escena de pelea” haha
This outfit was inspired in the “Attack of the Clones” fight costumes of Padmé Amidala, simple style of pants, low-heeled combat boots and a symetrical cut blouse.Of course I coouldn’t miss the “fight scene pose” haha
Para este otro me fuí hasta “El retorno del Jedi”, una falda larga con abertura a lado tomando solo una idea mil veces más prudente que el vestuario de Leia como prisionera de Jabba el Hutt. No me gustó mucho imaginar que así se hubiera visto Leia si se hubiera ido de lado oscuro.
For this other one I went back to “The return of the Jedi”, a long skirt with side openning taking only an idea of a thousand times more decent Princess Leia costume as Jabba the Hutt prisoner. I didn’t like thinking that sort of like this would had look Leia if she had gone to the dark side.
Y mi favorito, este abrigo largo como gabardina que unos días me hace sentir como Matrix, Batman o mi inspiración final para este post… Darth Vader haha lo combine con pantalón de “cuero” y botines. Por cierto, este abrigo se ve bien con todo!

And my favorite, this long coat as trench coat that some days makes me feel like Matrix, Batman or my final inspiration for this post…Darth Vader haha I mixed it with “leather” pants and ankle boots. Btw, this coat looks awesome with everything!
